Great article! I tried vegetarianism, a while back, when it was still a fringy, hippie thing to do. At least according to *everyone* else, so I can relate to the pushback you’ve received. I’m surprised that that’s still going on? With what we now know about meat production’s effect on climate as well as clean water systems. This is a great topic and I’m looking forward to listening to the podcast where you go into more depth.

Thank you for this well thought out view on vegetarianism. As much as I would love to be vegetarian again (I was in my 20s), my current health issues make it impossible. Living according to Nature, for me, includes eating foods that my body can actually absorb.

I also agree that being a Stoic right now must include environmentalism. Fast fashion is one of the largest polluters after oil and gas so I am mindful of my clothing buying and use. I buy new items rarely, and mend my clothes whenever possible.
